By downloading, registering, or using the AquaLog app or website, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use AquaLog.

1. Nature of Service

• AquaLog is an aquaculture management assistance platform for digital record keeping and farm insights
• It does not replace professional farming judgment, veterinary advice, or agricultural advisory services
• AquaLog is a paid subscription service (AquaLog Plus)
• Account creation is free. New users get a 60-day free trial with all features. No card or payment is needed to sign up
• After the free trial, a paid plan is needed to keep adding data (see "When a plan or trial ends" below)

Paid plans

• Paid plans are available as monthly, 6-month and yearly plans. Prices are shown on our Pricing page and in the app before you pay, and include 18% GST
• Plans do not renew automatically. All payments are made manually, and the app sends reminders before your plan expires
• Android payments are processed by Razorpay. iPhone payments are processed by Apple through the App Store
• You will only be charged when you choose and pay for a plan
• Cancelling means not renewing. Your access continues until the end of the paid period. There is no refund for unused days
• Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy

When a plan or trial ends

• Days 1–3 after a paid plan expires (grace period): you can keep entering data, but AquaLog AI and adding new ponds are not available
• Days 4–33: view only
• From day 34: the account is locked — only the payment screen and report download are available
• When the free trial ends: the account goes straight to view only, with no grace period
• Your data is never deleted for non-payment. It is deleted only if you delete your account, as explained in the Privacy Policy

2. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology within AquaLog — including but not limited to the app name, logo, UI design, source code, AI models, data schemas, and PondSafe alert system — are the exclusive intellectual property of Aditya Aquatic Foods Private Limited.

• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of AquaLog
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application
• Unauthorised use of AquaLog's intellectual property may result in legal action

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all farming decisions made using the app
• Data entered into the app must be accurate and truthful
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login
• You agree to notify AquaLog immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account
• If you add managers or workers to your account, you are responsible for the details you enter about them, for having their permission to do so, and for what managers enter on your behalf
• You must be 18 years or older to register, or have the consent of a parent or lawful guardian

4. Prohibited Use

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Submitting false, misleading, or malicious PondSafe disease reports
• Attempting to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the system
• Using the app for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonating another farmer or user
• Scraping, copying, or extracting data from the platform

5. User-Generated Content — PondSafe Alerts

When you submit a PondSafe alert, you grant AquaLog a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, process, and use that alert data to operate the platform and generate aggregated insights.

• AquaLog reserves the right to review, moderate, and remove any PondSafe report that is false, harmful, misleading, or violates these terms
• Exact location of the reporting farmer's site or ponds is never displayed to other users — only a generalised approximate area is shown
• AquaLog is not responsible for losses caused by reports submitted by other users

6. Information for Reference Only

• AI Insights (AquaLog AI) are generated from the data you enter and may not always be correct
• Daily shrimp and fish prices are shown for reference only and may differ from the rates you are offered in the market
• PondSafe alerts are reported by other users and are not verified diagnoses

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aditya Aquatic Foods Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of AquaLog
• Your submission of false or harmful PondSafe reports
• Your breach of these Terms & Conditions
• Any third-party claim resulting from your use of the platform

8. Limitation of Liability

AquaLog shall not be liable for:

• Crop loss, mortality, or disease outbreaks
• Financial loss or reduced productivity
• Decisions taken based on AI Insights, PondSafe alerts, or daily prices
• Service downtime, errors, or interruptions

During the free trial, AquaLog's maximum liability is zero. For paid plans, AquaLog's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the plan period in which the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Service Changes

• AquaLog features and availability may change over time
• We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification before they take effect
• Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of updated terms

10. Termination

• AquaLog may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms
• Users may stop using the app at any time and delete their account from Settings, or ask us to delete it as explained in the Privacy Policy

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Andhra Pradesh, India
